Summer Ramsey Dickson has over a decade of experience in strategic communications. She has directed the marketing and communications departments of statewide nonprofits and has worked as a consultant in the private sector managing media relations and developing strategic communications plans for her clients.

Summer is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and serves on the organization’s Nonprofit Section Executive Committee.

While working as a paralegal, Summer received her associate’s degree in public service from Central Carolina Technical College, her bachelor’s degree in political science and philosophy from the University of South Carolina, and her master’s degree in political management from George Washington University.

Summer is a native of South Carolina. She and her wife live in Greenville with their two dogs.
